KITTIE'S "SPIT" LIMITED VINYL PRESSING

MNRK Heavy is stoked to announce a limited pressing of Kittie's debut album 'SPIT,' on two vinyl variants; metallic silver and clear red. 

Released in 2000, 'SPIT'' contains an arsenal of crushing songs, including "Brackish," "Charlotte," "Get Off (You Can Eat a Dick)," and more.

Kittie's "Spit" was part of the massive explosion of nu-metal, and held it's own against everyone else in the scene.

"The tone of (Kittie's 'Spit') is the polar opposite to what was expected of an all-girl band in 2000— it rips hard and fast, ready to fight any male fronted band twice their age, and win," said Loudwire in their 'Top 50 Nu-Metal Albums Of All-Time' list.

"Kittie's core sister duo of Morgan (vocals, guitar) and Mercedes Lander (drums) were just 17 and 15, respectively, when the band dropped its breakthrough debut album, Spit, which made brash, no-holds-barred songs like "Do You Think I'm a Whore" and "Get Off (You Can Eat a Dick)" all the more shocking and hard-hitting," said Revolver in their '20 Essential Nu-Metal Albums' list.

"We recorded “Spit” in nine days," said Mercedes Lander in a 2002 interview with Ballbuster Music. "Those were all written when we were 14 years old,” she told the GW Hatchet in a 2001 interview.
