Relate. (stylized with a period) is an American rock band from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2021. The band consists of drummer Diego Valenzuela, bassist Emilio Lujan, singer Duncan Slack, and guitarists Thomas Dalton and Zachery Fitzgerald.
What began as Slack's acoustic solo project during COVID evolved into a four-piece band by late 2021. After spending 2022 playing Denver shows and self-recording their debut EP Chemical Condition, Relate. released it in early 2023 and immediately began touring the Southwest. Between runs from Denver to California, they wrote and released singles Linger (2023) and Sludge (2024).
In summer 2024, Relate. traveled to Massachusetts to record their second EP, Have I Ever Done Anything?, with producer Jay Maas. Bassist Emilio Lujan joined shortly after, completing the lineup.
The band independently released single Constant Pressure in March 2025. "We sent our video team the unreleased EP and asked them to choose a single. They chose Constant Pressure and we just went with it," Duncan recalls.
Relate. toured extensively throughout 2025, culminating in the release of Have I Ever Done Anything? In February 2026, they signed with MNRK Heavy and re-released the EP. The band is currently writing new material and will support Good Terms on the Highway to Hell Yeah Brother tour in March 2026.
