ESCUELA GRIND EMBARKS ON HEADLINING TOUR STARTING TODAY
New England extreme metal powerhouse, Escuela Grind, releases its new EP, 'DDEEAATHHMMEETTAALL', today via MNRK Heavy. Recorded with Will Killingsworth, mixed by the GRAMMY-winning Kurt Ballou (High on Fire), and mastered by Nick Townsend (Cheap Trick, Dr. Dre), the EP houses four new songs including the lead cut, "Ball and Chain", and "Meat Magnet", featuring a guest appearance by Napalm Death vocalist Barney Greenway.
Fresh off U.S. spotlight tour dates with Baroness, and the extreme metal legends, Napalm Death, who took the young U.S. band under its proverbial wing in 2023, Escuela Grind is inarguably one of the hungriest young groups in music today. Escuela Grind has engaged in a seemingly unending live gauntlet since the September 2022 release of its LP, 'Memory Theater', relentlessly trekking the globe to bring its eye-opening energy and sound to welcoming music fans the world over.
In sync with the release of 'DDEEAATHHMMEETTAALL', Escuela Grind has kicked off a massive U.S. headlining tour, which launched on January 10. The five-week, 39-city winter trek will criss-cross the country, running through February 17. Support on the Escuela Grind tour is provided by Take Offense, Come Meirda, Slow Pulse, Bonginator, Frog Mallet, and Brat.
